ST. LOUIS, MO and NEW YORK, NY (March 25, 2009) – Martin America has awarded Siemens a $50 million contract to provide technologies and services for the construction of Martin America Airpark, one of the nation’s only office parks that combines professional building facility solutions with full-service transportation, hospitality, residential and healthcare services.

“Siemens is the primary technology partner for many public and private facilities, including stadiums, entertainment complexes, hospitals and campuses, said Ken Cornelius, President and CEO of Siemens One, the solutions business of Siemens Corporation.  “We understand the specifications of sophisticated projects like Martin America Airpark and can deliver tailored systems that enable maximum flexibility and efficiency.”

Martin America is currently developing a unique business park located on the property of the St. Louis Downtown Airport.  This business park, when complete, will support over 14 million square feet of building content, with client amenities including private jet and helicopter, limousine, banking, healthcare, residential, retail and lodging services. The new alliance will be one of several key partners for Martin America in the development of this business airpark.

Martin America selected Siemens because of the company’s successful track record building other large-scale complexes throughout the U.S. with the most advanced technologies,” said Troy D.
